I’m thrilled to announce that Brent Clothier has joined Henry Patent Law Firm as a patent agent.

Brent joins us from an elite general-practice law firm, where he managed global patent portfolios for Fortune 100 tech companies and other high-tech clients.

In addition to his experience as a patent professional, Brent has amazing technical chops. Before starting his career in patent law, Brent was a project manager and lead engineer at GE Global Research, where he led research and development efforts for commercial-grade chemical and materials processes.

Brent holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Brent’s diverse technical background and research experience allow him to quickly understand a wide range of technologies, no matter how complex. He’s already jumped in and added significant value for our clients.
