I’m proud to announce that Maria Sekul has joined Henry Patent Law Firm as a Patent Attorney. Maria joins us from Ericsson, where she served as Senior Patent Counsel, managing their global patent portfolio covering wireless technologies.

This also means we now have a former patent examiner working with us! After completing law school, Maria served as a U.S. patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in Alexandria, Virginia. Maria’s insight and wisdom gained from that experience has already proven to be an extremely valuable asset to our clients.

Maria also brings additional technical expertise to our team, having worked as a senior engineer at multiple global telecommunication companies for over 15 years. While working at Samsung, for example, Maria led a product development team and designed core network telecommunications systems.

Maria is the perfect addition to our team, and I’m excited to have another colleague who truly loves serving our clients and strategically developing global patent portfolios for them.
